The future of Silberheim - What you can look forward to!

For far too long, things have been quiet around us, our fantasy world and our trading card game Silberheim. But that’s about to change! Ready?

Aside from our year in review, it’s been more than half a year since you last heard from us. Admittedly, that’s quite a long time to go without any real signs of life from our side! So first of all, we want to thank you for your patience and apologize for the silence. Of course, we haven’t been completely idle over the past few months. On the contrary - we’ve been busy coding, drawing, designing, conceptualizing, organizing, planning, pitching, and so much more! In this post, we’ll tell you what all of that means for you and what you can look forward to in the future.

Challenges and important lessons

Over the past six months, we’ve experienced a number of internal changes - some positive, and others… well, more challenging. One of the latter also happens to be the reason behind our six-month silence. First and foremost, we’d like to apologize for that and promise to do better going forward! The main reason for our absence from the public eye comes down to two key developments: First, there was a change in our team structure, particularly with a new hire in our marketing department. This led to a detailed onboarding process, a decision to restart our content strategy, and a complete overhaul of our marketing concept. All of that took time - because we wanted to make sure we were building something long-term and sustainable, a solution we could truly commit to. The results of this process will soon be visible not just here on our website, but also on our YouTube channel. In fact, you can already find a recent update video there that sheds light on where things currently stand. But as promised, there’s a second reason behind our silence. In recent weeks, the entire team has been deeply immersed in a project that marks the next major milestone in our company’s journey And the best part? You’ll have the chance to actively take part in it!

Great plans, greater ambitions: A new milestone on the horizon!

Before we keep you in suspense any longer, it’s time to drop the big news behind this mysterious milestone: We’re talking about the Alpha test phase of our ECG Silberheim. In this phase, we’ll be presenting the current state of our game to a select audience and putting it through its paces from top to bottom. So, if you love hunting down glitches, breaking deck systems, or watching game worlds burn - we need you. After all, the game should be able to hold its own against players just like you! Of course, we’re just as happy to welcome test players who are a little less... destructive.
If you're interested in joining our Closed Alpha, feel free to join our Discord or reach out via email bei uns. We’re really looking forward to having you on board and thank you in advance for your support! We’ll announce the exact start date of the Alpha within the next few weeks - it won’t be long now! Please note: spots are limited.

Long-term goals in content planning: Videos, blog posts & more!

With the announcement of our Alpha test phase, we’ve already dropped the first bombshell – whether it hit you with excitement or skepticism, whether you broke into a joyful dance or are currently regretting ever clicking on this embarrassing blog post - that’s entirely up to you. Speaking of embarrassing and blog post - those happen to be the perfect keywords to lead us into the next update. We’re talking about the – potentially cringeworthy in places – content that you’ll be seeing here on the website over the coming weeks, months, years - and who knows, maybe even decades. We already mentioned at the beginning that we’re kicking off a new content strategy. But what exactly does that mean for you? Well… we don’t want to give too much away just yet. Right now, as we’re starting fresh, we want to experiment a little - like a young Wolby holding a Penja for the very first time. So if something seems a little odd to you now and then - or even more odd than usual - that might be intentional. Then again… maybe not. We’ll see. One detail we can reveal: You won’t have to wait months anymore for the next sign of life from us. We plan to post blog updates here more regularly moving forward.
