Terms and conditions for the giveaway

1. Organizer

2. Subject of the Giveaway

As part of the beta playtest, the organizer is hosting a giveaway in which 20 Steam gift cards worth €100 each will be raffled off.

Participation in the giveaway is voluntary and independent of registration for the beta playtest.

3. Eligibility to participate

Participation is open to natural persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

Participation in the giveaway is open worldwide, provided it is permitted under the applicable laws and regulations. The giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation complies with the laws and regulations applicable to them.

The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from certain countries, states, or jurisdictions, or to restrict their participation where necessary to comply with local legal requirements.

Employees of the organizer and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the giveaway in the event of violations of these terms and conditions or attempts to manipulate the giveaway.

4. Participation in the Giveaway

Participation takes place in two steps:

  1. Registration of an account for the beta playtest on the organizer’s platform.
  2. Active consent to participate in the giveaway (by selecting the corresponding checkbox).

Consent to participate in the giveaway is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries or automated participation (e.g., via bots or scripts) are not allowed.

5. Participation Period

The giveaway begins on March 27, 2026 and ends on April 10, 2026.

Entries submitted outside of this period will not be considered.

6. Determination of Eligible Participants (Activity Ranking)

For participation in the raffle, the 200 most active participants of the beta playtest will be considered.

Player activity is determined based on the in-game currency “Flux” earned during gameplay. The decisive factor is the total amount of Flux earned by a player during the beta playtest.

After the participation period ends, the 200 players with the highest amount of earned Flux will be identified.

To participate in the faction raffle, players must both be among the 200 most active participants and be a member of the faction that wins the faction competition during the beta playtest.

The organizer reserves the right to exclude players from participation in the event of attempted manipulation, use of exploits, bots, or any other unauthorized methods intended to artificially increase the amount of Flux earned.

7. Prizes and Winner Selection

A total of 10 gift cards worth €100 each will be raffled off.

The winners will be selected at random from the participants who qualify according to Section 6.

The raffle will be conducted in two categories:

1. Main Raffle

Ten of the gift cards will be raffled among all participants who qualify according to Section 6.

2. Faction Raffle

An additional ten gift cards will be raffled among participants who belong to the winning faction and are also qualified in accordance with Section 6.

The outcome of the faction competition will be determined based on the game systems and evaluations of the organizer.

All decisions made by the organizer in connection with the determination of the winners are final.

8. Manipulation and Prohibited Conduct

Any attempt to manipulate the course of the giveaway or the beta playtest may result in exclusion from the giveaway.

This includes in particular:

  • Use of cheats, exploits, or unauthorized software
  • Manipulation of game states or game mechanics
  • Automated participation or the use of multiple accounts
  • Artificial manipulation of the amount of Flux earned

The organizer is entitled to exclude participants from the giveaway in the event of suspected manipulation and to revoke prizes retroactively.

9. Winner Notification and Prize Delivery

Winners will be notified after the end of the giveaway via the email address stored in their account.

If a winner does not respond within 14 days of the notification, the organizer reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The prizes will be delivered electronically.

Cash payment, exchange, or transfer of the prize is not permitted.

10. Modification or Early Termination

The organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time for important reasons, particularly in the event of technical issues, manipulation, or legal reasons.

11. Liability

The organizer shall only be liable for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

In the case of slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage.

Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.

12. Data Protection

The personal data collected in connection with participation in the giveaway will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting and administering the giveaway.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the giveaway) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

13. Taxes and Duties

Winners are solely responsible for any taxes or other charges that may arise in their country of residence in connection with the prize.

14. Exclusion of Legal Recourse

Legal recourse is excluded.

15. Applicable Law

To the extent permitted by law, the law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

16. Severability Clause

Should any individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
