Silberheim ECG Beta Test 2026: A Look Back, Part 3

We’ve had two intense weeks of beta testing – find out here what you’ve witnessed or missed! Part 3: About winners and heart-warming anecdotes.

A battle raged through Isdraia

The recent beta test for Silberheim ECG took place under a specific theme. It was the battle of all battles – the Battle of Isdraia, in Isdraia, over Isdraia, with Isdraia, um, I’m running out of ideas. The five factions fought together against one another for supremacy! In the end, only one could win, but in our hearts, of course, all these wonderful souls are winners of this event. Now, we could go to great lengths – inefficiently, laboriously and time-consuming as it would be – to weave the various chapters of the battle into an epic narrative framework and pen down chronicles of the events, which nobody would read anyway. But that would, of course, be absurd and – oh. Wait a moment. We’ve actually already done that. However, exclusively for our dearest valued souls who created a Silberheim account as part of the beta test. You can find the relevant posts in the members’ area here, there and over there. But it won’t get much more inefficient than that, will it? Well, there’s a chance that a spin-off picking up on the events of the battle is being created right this very moment. As soon as it’s finished and ready to read (free of charge, of course), we’ll let you know via Discord, naturally. But don’t worry, it’s not being done by the people who programme Silberheim ECG – in case you were concerned about the game’s future progress. That said, your concern is justified. It’s actually Manu who’s doing it. Why? Well, after his button ban, he had a severe fit of rage and had to be quickly calmed down with occupational therapy. Unfortunately, we’d already run out of straitjackets. We’d rather use the valuable space in this article for something completely new. So we’re going to chat a bit about the whole event and reveal right at the end which faction came out on top (in case that slipped your mind for some reason). At the helm of the factions were their leaders. We worked with a total of seven content creators, influencers, talents – you wouldn’t believe how many different terms there are for them. It was an immense honour for us, because we’ve all got a bit of a fanboy or fangirl slumbering inside us too. To get to this point, we sent out loads of cringe-worthy emails, employed bribery tactics here and there in the form of cat photos, and somehow didn’t come across as funny enough to get a “no”. We don’t quite understand how that could have happened, though. To be honest, it wasn’t all that easy. Because, to be honest, we didn’t have a clue about this world. You might have noticed that here and there. All we can say is that we did our best. And we’re learning from the experience to do even better in future. We could fill this space with more waffle that would sound like empty PR statements. You’ll just have to take our word for it that, for once, we mean this seriously. But that was by no means the only thing that made this battle what it was. Not by a long shot. Because this battle would never have taken place had hundreds of dear souls not thrown themselves into the fray. And they gave it their all! The faction that ultimately gave the most were the Skuhuks. And so they secured victory, supremacy over Isdraia and the first prize draw. We’ll come back to that at a later date. But it’s worth mentioning once again at this point that all of you dear souls should give yourselves a hearty pat on the back. We thank you.

Thinking outside the (Goblin) box

Two weeks packed with gaming, fun and excitement haven’t gone unnoticed on our Discord server. In fact, we’d go so far as to say that this has been – and still is – the main hub for the beta test. In a relatively short space of time, quite a few people have gathered there to discuss Silberheim ECG. And we’d like to share our favourite anecdotes from Discord here! If you’ve missed one, please do let us know – we’re keen not to forget any!

Why the beta started at 3.51 pm

It all began with a date and a time: on 27 March at precisely 3.51 pm, the gates to the Chamber of Souls opened, and hundreds of dear souls set themselves the task of amassing as much Flux as humanly possible. Only one precious soul had set themselves a different goal. And so, instead, they searched doggedly for the answer to a nagging little detail that simply would not let them be.

3.51 pm. Just gone? No(x).

And they speculated about angel numbers, historical events, temperatures and mathematics – only to then, in the end… give up? Yet the fun has only just begun. But no, the dear souls will certainly not capitulate so easily.

(Not-So-)Good Friday

And then there was that one day when three of our programmers encountered an angel. It wasn’t because they’d thrown themselves out of the window in desperation and caught a glimpse of him during their near-death experience – from the ground floor, they didn’t quite make it that far. Instead, he appeared to them with great kindness on the legendary Good Friday. But strictly speaking, and as our three programmers painfully discovered, this Good Friday was actually a Not-So-Good Friday. Bravely, they sat there, gathering their last reserves of strength to finally implement the long-awaited Evolving Format and the bundling of cards and memories. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. The angel had sent the three brave programmers a sweet treat: doughnuts! And whilst they fortified themselves with them, thinking about diabetes only every other bite, there was so much gratitude and love in the room that it was almost sickening. But only almost. <3

Wolbies everywhere

If you walk into the offices of Beyond Worlds GmbH, turn right and then left at some point, you’ll end up in a very specific part of our humble game studio. Because sitting there by the window is the person responsible for making your wildest Wolby sticker dreams come true. It’s Fiona, of course! A round of applause, please! What about Wolby with a Kinder bar – would that cause copyright issues? Hmm. Whether it’s Wolby with a chocolate bar in that strikingly familiar red-and-white wrapper, Wolby with a blanket, Wolby with a bat, Wolby with a heart, Wolby with a menacing firearm, or Wolby with blazing flames of attack – thanks to Fiona, there are Wolbies upon Wolbies upon even more Wolbies! And let’s be honest: we all think that’s absolutely brilliant. Anyone up for new Wolby stickers every month?

So, which one do you like best?

Who wants to be the very best?!

“I want to be the very best,” thought a chap who now calls himself Wz’en. And so it came to pass that Wz’en became the very best Alpha player – though one might hear more cynical tongues say he was simply the most flux addicted. Like no one ever was, he became the best Silberheim ECG player. But then came the beta test, and Wz’en realised that the time had come to hand over the reins. And so he chose to devote himself to something else instead. Together with a few other dedicated souls, and under the historically established name ‘Goblinbox’ TV, they organised the first Silberheim ECG Beta Cup! “To catch them is my real test,” declared Diaflo, eyeing the promised prizes. And just as he had already prevailed over all the other players, he gave no one a chance in this competition either.
“To train them is my cause,” said Sharisto and Jersch, and threw themselves into battle despite this formidable opponent. To the sound of glorious victory fanfares, they secured second and third place!

You can rest assured that you’ll be able to enjoy tournaments of this kind in the future too. And the Beyond Worlds team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in organising this. Because, let’s face it, we (almost) weren’t. You’re brilliant! The credit goes entirely to you.

Memes

On our Discord server, alongside conspiracy theories, doughnuts, Wolbies and competitions, there have also been other, very entertaining and, above all, hilarious things going on: memes! We’d like to share a small selection of them with you here.
