Silberheim Art Contest – Immortalize Your Art in Silberheim!

Some time ago, we published a post on Instagram because we were originally looking for a handful of new artists to help us get rid of our AI placeholder artwork. What came out of it completely blew us away. Since then, we have received more than 1,000 applications. That is incredible! We truly appreciate it and feel deeply honored by the overwhelming interest. We would therefore like to sincerely thank everyone who submitted their portfolios. At the same time, it pains us that we unfortunately cannot commission all 1,000 artists. That's why we came up with something: an Art Contest! Every participant has the chance to win a paid Silverheim commission. What exactly that means and how you can take part can be found here or in the corresponding Instagram post.

Two tokens are looking for new, hand-crafted artwork. Tokens are elements on the game board that are created by other cards but do not exist as collectible cards themselves. In this case, the tokens are "Fenn Resident" and "Red Lynx." Create a new illustration for one of these two token artworks, and with a bit of luck, it may become part of the official final version of the game. To participate, simply publish a detailed, colored thumbnail on Instagram, tag our Instagram account @beyond_worlds, and include the hashtag #SilberheimArtContest. The submission deadline is August 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM. A maximum of one submission per person and token can be considered. If you would like to submit artwork for both tokens, please publish them as separate posts. Participation is open to everyone aged 18 or older.

Your submission must meet the following requirements:

• The original file must have a resolution of 3000 × 4000 px.
• It must follow a semi-realistic, painterly art style.
• It must be created entirely by you.
• It must not include fan art, third-party characters, or any copyrighted material belonging to others.
• It must be created without the use of generative AI or AI-generated elements.
• It must match the visual references provided below (example thumbnail and lore-based token concepts).
• It must be safe for work (SFW) and must not contain sexualized or excessively graphic content.
• It must not contain anthropomorphic furry depictions.

From all valid submissions, the Silberheim team will select four finalists for each token artwork. Particular attention will be paid to the following criteria:

• Compliance with the submission requirements
• Artistic quality
• Originality and recognizability
• Consistency with the world and visual style of Silberheim
• Suitability of the artwork as a playable token

On September 7, 2026, the finalists will be announced on Instagram. Afterwards, the community will decide the final placements through a public vote. The exact voting process will be explained in the corresponding voting post. The first-place winner will be commissioned to create the final artwork and will receive a payment of €200 to €300, depending on the scope and complexity of the commission. The finished artwork will become an official part of the Silberheim Evolving Card Game, with full credit given to the respective artist. In addition, second place will receive a €100 Amazon gift card, while third place will receive a €50 Amazon gift card.

Before you continue, please take a moment to read the official Terms and Conditions of Participation to make sure you're fully informed. But first, here's some background information on the two tokens.

Fendiril's Heirs, as the Fenn call themselves in honor of their patron goddess Fendiril, are a people deeply connected to nature. They live behind palisade walls, deep within the western reaches of the Duskwoods. The Fenn stand one to two heads taller than humans. They have an elegant appearance and move with natural grace. Their dark complexion and slightly pointed ears are just as characteristic as the strong sense of unity within their clans. You can find more information about the Fenn in this article.

The Red Lynx in Isdraia has four independently movable ears with exceptional hearing, red fur with a dark brown stripe running along its back, a brownish face and brown ears, as well as an additional thumb on each paw. Its young have beige to light reddish fur with red spots, which gradually turn completely red as they mature.

1. General

The Silberheim Art Contest gives artists the opportunity to submit their own designs for new token artwork for the game Silberheim. Illustrations are being sought for the following tokens:

• Red Lynx Wildlife
• Fenn Resident You may participate in either one or both categories.

2. Contest Period

The contest runs from July 30, 2026, to August 30, 2026. Submission deadline: August 30, 2026, 11:59 PM CEST Submissions received after the deadline may be excluded from the contest.

3. Participation and Submission

To participate, you must create a detailed, colored thumbnail for one of the announced token artworks and publish it as an individual Instagram post. The following requirements apply:

• A maximum of one submission per person and token.
• A separate Instagram post for each token.
• Use the hashtag #SilberheimArtContest.
• Tag @beyond_worlds in the post.
• Follow the official references and guidelines provided in the contest announcement.

4. Submission Requirements

The submitted artwork must:

• Be created in a 3:4 format.
• Have a resolution of 3000 × 4000 px in its original file.
• Follow a semi-realistic, painterly art style.
• Be created entirely by the participant.
• Be created without the use of generative AI or AI-generated elements.
• Comply with the visual guidelines of the contest.
• Be safe for work (SFW).

The following are not permitted:

• Sexualized content.
• Excessively graphic depictions.
• Anthropomorphic furry depictions.
• Fan art of third-party copyrighted characters.
• Copyrighted material belonging to third parties.

By submitting an entry, participants confirm that they own all necessary rights to the submitted artwork.

5. Eligibility

Participation is open exclusively to natural persons who are at least 18 years of age at the time of submission.

6. Use of Submitted Artwork

By publishing their submission, the participant grants Beyond Worlds a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to share, display, and use the submitted thumbnail on its own social media channels in connection with the contest until and including September 30, 2026. Where possible, the artist's name or Instagram account will be credited. All copyrights and other rights to the original artwork remain entirely with the artist. Any further use of the submitted artwork, in particular its development into a final game asset or its inclusion in Silberheim, will only take place on the basis of a separate agreement with the artist.

7. Selection of Finalists and Community Voting

From all valid submissions, the Silberheim team will select four finalists for each token artwork. The selection will be based in particular on the following criteria:

• Compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Participation.
• Artistic quality.
• Originality and recognizability.
• Consistency with the world and visual style of Silberheim.
• Suitability as a playable token artwork.

The finalists will be announced on Instagram on September 7, 2026. Afterwards, the community will determine the final rankings through a public Instagram vote. The exact voting procedure will be announced in the corresponding post.

8. Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded for each of the two token artworks:

1st Place: The winner will be offered the opportunity to complete the final version of the token artwork as a paid commission. Compensation will be determined based on the scope and complexity of the final artwork and will be agreed upon separately between the artist and Beyond Worlds before work begins. The finished artwork may be officially used in Silberheim. The artist will be credited in connection with the artwork or the corresponding card.

2nd Place: The winner will receive a gift card. The type and value of the gift card will be agreed upon individually with the winner.

3rd Place: The winner will receive a gift card. The type and value of the gift card will be agreed upon individually with the winner.

9. Additional Information

The Silberheim team is not obligated to provide individual explanations for the selection of finalists or the final results. Due to the expected number of submissions, personal feedback on individual entries cannot be guaranteed. Submissions that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions of Participation may be excluded from the contest. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
